This hotel truly exceeded our expectations in so many ways. the value for money is remarkable, with affordable prices for such a fantastic experience. The attention to detail throughout the hotel is evident, from the well-maintained rooms to the excellent service provided by the staff. Speaking of the staff, they were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist us with anything we needed. One aspect we particularly loved was the location of the hotel, nestled right up in the mountains at the central ski area. It was incredibly convenient to have a ski field right at our front door, allowing us to hit the slopes with ease. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast served each morning, providing us with the energy to make the most of our days. All in all, this hotel offered a fantastic experience that we couldn't have asked for.

A Hidden Gem in Shiga Kogen
I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel nestled in the beautiful Shiga Kogen area. As soon as I arrived, I was captivated by the serene surroundings and the promise of a peaceful getaway. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was comfortable. The rooms may not have been what I initially expected, but the cozy lounge area more than made up for it. I spent delightful afternoons there, enjoying the warmth of the fire and the inviting atmosphere.

Ski in/ski out hotel, ski rental and lockers located next to the entrance. the location is great and there are no queues on the mountain.
The rooms are old and dated. the staff are untrained and unhelpful, and the food is expensive and average.

We found the hotel's location convenient as it offers easy access to the slopes. its proximity to the main area made it an ideal choice during the early part of the season. We were glad that it was just a short distance from Nagano station, which made our commute hassle-free. the breakfast offered a wide selection of food that we enjoyed, and the room was spacious and clean, with an impressive view of the surrounding area.
The limited food options available in the hotel's restaurant.

This hotel is located in the perfect position for skiers, right next to the lifts. You can literally step out of the front door and onto the ski field. The central location within the Shiga Kogen ski area means you have easy access to all the slopes and can explore to your heart's content. The value for money here is great, especially considering the reasonable prices for meals and ski hire mentioned in other reviews. The staff are friendly and attentive, making sure all your needs are taken care of. The basic amenities in the rooms, including the bathroom and the 4 beds, are more than sufficient for a comfortable stay. And let's not forget the breakfast, which sets you up for a full day of skiing with its variety and quality.
All was just fine, couldn't ask for more.

Great location for skiing and snowboarding, with easy ski-in and ski-out access from the hotel. The view from the room was stunning, with beautiful snow-covered mountains in sight. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a cozy lounge to warm up in after a long day on the slopes.
The hotel was dated and could use some updating. The room we stayed in was small and cramped, and the bathroom felt cramped and outdated.
